Hey FOMO Munich,

OMR was a blast. And somehow, we ended up right in the middle of it.

Together with Qonto, we hosted a little Pre-Standparty experiment hidden in the corner of Halle A4. The challenge? Convince 100+ people to leave the main strip on a Tuesday evening while competing against giants like About You or 1KOMMA5°.

Turns out, you don’t compete with the big parties. You organize the pre-party for all the parties. 100+ bottles of prosecco. A very good DJ. €1,000 to give away. And somehow, it worked a little too well 😎

OMR also felt like a glimpse into where events are heading. Conference meets lifestyle meets internet culture.

And honestly, that’s also the bet we’re making with FOMO. We love AI, automation, and all the tools that give us more leverage, more scale, and more time. But the real value still happens offline. Real people. Real conversations. Random Tuesday evenings that somehow change everything.
